Westport’s jewel is a small park located on an environmentally sensitive site, at the confluence of the Saugatuck River and Deadman’s Brook, adjacent to the town library and the RiverWalk. A new Pavilion, as designed by Peter Cadoux Architects, P.C., was built to provide an updated, weatherproof venue for live arts and entertainment that is used seasonally by the community. Barbara was part of the Landscape Architectural design team that was involved in the permitting and creation of this new, world class entertainment facility along with a public access trail, new native plantings and the remediation of invasive species along the river banks. She oversaw the installation of the landscape in cooperation with Verdi Construction Company.
