A new home owner wanted to create an oasis in their back yard where they could relax and bbq on a new patio by their kitchen door and then go swimming during the summer months. BWLA designed a replacement pool built into the steep slope with an engineered 6 ft. high retaining wall to contain the new pool and pool area patio. The design included a new concrete paver patio to surround the pool with matching steps and retaining wall between the pool and the new upper patio accessed from the kitchen. Cable railings surround the pool patio to provide safety for swimmers. A portion of the back yard is enclosed in the new pool code compliant fencing which also helps keep their dogs from roaming.
The existing dense woodlands at the back of this large lot provides lots of privacy and block views of nearby roadways, additional evergreen trees will be selectively placed to block future proposed development down slope.
